Contents Database

Each VML site comes with a large and informative content database and graphics providing useful information concerning the area that you have chosen. It is a well proven fact that the quality and extent of content is a key factor that encourages people to visit your site time and time again, thus developing that all-important traffic volume.

The amount of content will vary depending upon which country you purchase. You will appreciate that as we have accumulated content concerning just about every country in the world it is impossible for us to keep it absolutely up to date. However, this is not a problem because when you have bought the business for a particular country you can amend, delete or add to the information in any way you wish*, even adding or deleting pictures.

All content is automatically indexed and categorized in an 'easy to navigate' folder: Just click and view.

* We expect all our customers to observe our code of professionalism, decency and honesty as regards content and we reserve the right to insist that the customer removes any material that we consider to be offensive or indecent. In extreme cases, we may deactivate the site until the customer has amended the material in keeping with this policy.

VML Site Owner

As a VML site owner you would have access to the backend system (Admin). Once logged in, not only can you change and add to what is already there but you can create new sections and sub sections.

You can build your new business extensively by adding new regions and towns and adding sub links for each of them, i.e. you can add a sub folder to 'Spain' and create sub menus within that folder also!

How Listings Work

Overview of the Property Portfolio Section –
(NB Yachting and Lifestyles listings work in a very similar way)

Our carefully designed property portfolio system provides the means –

• For site visitors to navigate easily to find the villa or property they want, in the place they want.
• For the site owner to operate and administrate the system easily, via the specially designed administration system.

The property portfolio section is shown from different viewpoints:

• A user looking for accommodation
• An accommodation provider adding and maintaining their display
• The site administrator control

A user looking for a holiday villa to rent:

This system has been designed to enable users to find what they want quickly.

After clicking on the Property Portfolio link in any of the country specific sites, the user is sent to a property portfolio Home Page, where suitable holiday accommodation can be found quickly in the area chosen.

Facilities include:

• A regional search facility
• A specific marina search facility

When the user has selected the required region and marina, the system presents a list of search categories for that specific area, e.g.

• Property Agents
• Private Rental
• Property Developers etc…

After clicking on the category that best suits what they are looking for the database lists all accommodation within it, with the option to filter the listings again to match specific criteria.

When the user has located accommodation that looks interesting, you can then click on the link for that accommodation and this will display the advertisement that the accommodation provider has paid to place on the system, including pictures, write ups, tariff, availability, contact details etc.
