How do I make money from a site?

Mainly you will be looking at a carefully planned telephone and email broadcast campaign targeted at Property Agents / Private Property Sellers – Renters and associated traders. Yacht builders / Private Yacht owners wishing to sell their yachts, and associated suppliers to the yachting industry. Lifestyle: Hotels, restaurants, accommodation suppliers, private air charter and chauffeured driven limousines, and other travel related service providers. Contacting group/bulk advertising e.g. hotel chains, groups and tourist associations is extremely profitable and encourages other advertisers.

How is my website found?

We promote your site to Google and/or the Overture Network – We make sure that your sites appear in the top few results for any ‘key phrases’ that you choose to promote your site.

Do I need programming knowledge or experience of websites?

No these sites have an easy to use control panel that allows you to run them with very little computer knowledge or experience. We suggest if you can send and receive emails and you a “word” document you are more than capable to operate a VML site.

How much time do I need to put in?

This is entirely up to you. The sites are highly automated, but we would recommend a minimum of five hours a week. The more time you can give the quicker and more profitable the business will become.

How much is one dependent on your company – what if you went out of business?

Although we are here to help 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, you are not dependant on us. Should anything happen to our company, you are free to take your website and host elsewhere.

How much can I make – what is the earning potential?

Can these sites be run from anywhere in the world?

Yes, these sites have been specifically designed to be totally re-locatable, all you need is a computer and internet access – you can then log in to your site and manage and maintain it.

Is the Website 100% mine to own & can I sell the website on?

Yes – once purchased the website is yours and should you wish to resell in the future, you are free to do so. We can also assist with this as buyers are continually looking for sites that have already been sold.

Some sites already have listings?

All VML sites come with Property, Yachting and lifestyle advertisements already listed to give the site depth and a professional image that encourages the new advertiser to come onto the site. You can remove them if you wish as they are there for free unless you choose to charge them at a later date. All new listings will just pay the annual fee.

Do I own the domain name?

Yes, upon full receipt of payment the domain name is transferred into your name and can be authenticated by visiting the domain name registrar http://www.internic.com/(Click the Who is link).

Is money from advertisers collected through a secure gateway?

Yes it is totally secure – the websites use Paypal Payment solutions. Other payment providers can be accommodated.

What happens if the website crashes?

In the event that this does happen we would bring our backup servers online.

Where are the websites hosted?

The websites are all hosted on our dedicated servers at Express Web Systems Inc. USA.

What equipment do I need?

You will need access to a Windows based PC, Windows 2000 or above with a Pentium II or above processor. Internet access is essential, no less that IE6.

Do I need to be on broadband/DSL?

No, as long as you can connect to the internet that is OK, although broadband is quicker and would be more beneficial.

What about backups?

Taped backs are run daily and all information is stored on the server. We would also recommend that you make your own backups too.

Who deals and pays for Search Engine promotion?

We initially set you up with Google Adwords, we promote your keywords and pay for the first months promotion. It is then up to you if you wish to carry this on. You should be looking to spend about £50 -£100 per month. Using the promotion techniques we use, we can make sure your site appears in the top few results on Google under as many search phrases as you want.

Is there a log of hits/visitors for my site?

Yes all sites come with an in depth statistical analysis package which enables you to view the amount of hits your site is receiving, where they have come from, etc…

Do you include marketing material to help run a site?

Yes we have a wealth of experience in marketing the services of these websites and provide standard email flyers and marketing templates that have worked for our current customers.
